A couple of times I've gotten email from people who read That Most Lonely Thing asking me to have Harry and Percy hook up in the next chapter, because I'm taking too long about it. Everytime I get one I just have to boggle at it because, what? A full day hasn't even gone by yet in fic time, and at this point they (or Harry at least) haven't even thought of each other romantically, other then Harry's passing thought in the last chapter about how weird it was to think of people getting the wrong idea about him sharing Percy's room.

People are weird.

I don't know if anyone else would be interested in this, but signups are open for Nanowrimo and this year I'm using it as an excuse to write a Theremin. So I made a LJ community for people who'd like to do the same thing. So, if anyone would like to try Nanowrimo next month but can't come up with a plot then maybe you can check it out and see if you'd like to try this one.
