(no subject)

This meth PSA is really the best one in the world. I just spent twenty minutes running around the internet looking for a copy of it, and it was worth it.

Admittedly, I like it so much because it makes me laugh my ass off and because the song's incredibly catchy, not because it dissuades me from using meth, but then I never had any inclination to try it anyway so... *shrugs* who knows whether it works on anyone else.

Oh, and if anyone's interested, further tests show that I have no brain tumor.

Tonight I'm really in the moody for something with chicken and vegetables and creamy saucy/gravyey/whateverey liquids. A pot pie or creamy chicken soup or chicken with floating islands. Unfortunately, all the vegetables I have at the moment aren't suitable for that sort of thing. *imagines a chicken pot pie with zucchini and butternut squash and shudders*

So now my craving is fighting against my lazyness which doesn't want to bother going to the store when there are other things here that I could make for dinner even if I'm not in the mood for them. I suppose I could throw together and alfredo sauce and make chicken and pasta, but that really isn't the flavor I have a yen for.

Oh, and I don't suppose anyone knows a font made of the initial letters from old books, do they? You know, the ornate ones in boxes that are usually (in my experience) about 1"x1" big? Often seen in Book of Hours (though I personally usually think of them as a fairy tale thing)? I have a book of Grimm's that I could copy some out of if I had to, but they're all very specifically tailored to the stories they go with, so I'm trying to find something more general.

*shrugs* Well, if worse comes to worse I can always draw my own. I just don't know how well I'd do at capturing the feel of real ones.
