Right now it has on Great Big Sea (the main site has an inbedded wave, so it may take a while to load, but if you've never heard them before you might want to listen). I have it on mostly as an earbug while I write, only turning around and paying attention when I realising that they're playing one of their songs that I know and like and mostly ignoring it otherwise.
So, they start singing another song, and I find my ears keep getting tweaked to it even though I don't know it. And I don't know why since it's a bit (read: way) too repetitive for my tastes, so it's not a matter of my hearing a bit of it then liking it and wanting to listen. But it keeps catching my attention every verse/chorus, so finally I keep watching through the next verse to figure out what's doing it.
*facepalms* The song in question is General Taylor. The second line of every verse and the chorus is "Walk him along, John, carry him along." So, everytime I heard them say "John, carry" it tinged a bit of my mind that was drawn to attention by the thought of someone singing a song about John Kerry.
