Notes: For June fic-a-day.
"I’m glad I got to meet you, Chris," Yun said, settling next to her under on of the pine trees in the forest.
Chris made a content-sounding noise of agreement, relaxing against the mossy trunk and squinting up into the sunlight. "I’m happy that I had a chance to see this place."
Yun smiled at here serenely. "I almost lost faith that you’d get here in time."
She refused to say anything more, just curled up in a small patch of grass that had found enough light to grow and looked like she was at peace.
