Fandom: Silent Hill 3
Characters: Heather
Notes: For June fic-a-day.
Heather's stomach twisted inside of her as she retraced the path through the amusement park she'd taken in her dream. She went slower the further she got into it. She didn't want to keep going, not when that dream she'd thought had just been a regluar nightmare had turned out to be a warning that she'd be killed (or at least seriously maimed) by a roller coaster when she got to where it had ended. Even though she searched every corner of every area she passed through for something she could do to make a difference, some open door somewhere that she hadn't noticed the last time, perhaps, that would let her bipass the coaster, she could find nothing. The further she went, the more sure she became that the only way she could avoid it was by turning around and leaving.
And that was the one thing she couldn't do. Not when Claudia was on the other side of the park. Not when finding a way to survive the roller coaster was the only way she could get her revenge.
So, although her knuckles were white from how tightly she clenched her pipe and her legs shook underneath her, she kept going. A nightmare, premonition though it had turned out to be, wouldn't keep her from avenging her father. Nothing would.
