Jul. 22nd, 2006 12:11 amI have felt horribly, disgustingly, sick today. It actually started yesterday, but then it was just a slightly off feeling in my stomach and a complete absence of hunger all day long.
Then today I woke up feverish, headachy, my chest hurting every time I took a deep breath, and sick to my stomach. Most of the day it wasn't really that bad, but than at dinner time I decided that even though I still didn't feel hungry I really should make myself eat since I hadn't in over a day.
Ever since then I've been, ah... losing liquids faster than I can put more into my body. I know that tomorrow I'm going to be insanely dehydrated, though I hope my stomach will have settled enough by then to start fixing that right away.
On the upside my fever's already gone back down most of the way so my body's stopped bouncing back and forth between feeling sweltering hot and shaking all over with cold (mostly the cold, in the afternoon I had to completely turn the air off in the eight-some degree weather and down scalding cups of tea just to start feeling a little warm) as badly as it did earlier. And I can breathe pretty much normally again.
But, still, I think I'd rather switch back to mostly feeling that if I could.
