person4It seems like everywhere I turn I see people doing the "Ask me for ficlets!" meme, so I figured I'd jump on the bandwagon. Of course only, what, three people? are likely to see this, so feel free to ask for lots. Or, hey, whore me out to friends who'd like to see things written. I just need to write right now, and everytime I try restarting something I lost I feel the need to burst into tears.
Let's see, fandoms... HP of course. Anything in my ff.n account. I don't watch much TV these days, although pretty much anything on Cartoon Network is workable (except Scooby Doo. I only like the "A Pup Named" series, and thats based fully on nostalgia). Fairly Odd Parents or Invader Zim on Nickelodeon. I'd also be willing to do Wild Thornberries, though I only watch that if it happens to be on. Strangers With Candy, Keen Eddie... that's about it. Anime and PS1 RPGs, ask. There're too many of those to list, though I gravitate mostly towards comedy when it comes to anime. Movies... bad comedies. Really. Also Disney movies, and most decent feature-length cartoons by other companies. In books I mostly read children's liturature. Most commonly known series', Narnia, The Dark is Rising, LoTR (though I'm not that big a fan). The Redwall books. Fantasy. Sherlock Holmes. Classics. I don't read romances, non-Holmes mysteries, or pretty much anything that doesn't fit into the above catagories.
*skims the list and laughs her head off* I really am just a giant five-year-old, aren't I? Take away SWC, Keen Eddie, Sherlock Holmes, and Classic liturature (and maybe bad comedies) and that could have been written by a grade schooler.
If you want me to scribble you a ficlet but don't think the fandom you want fits into the above mess then ask anyway, I'm sure there're plenty of things I'm not thinking of and it can't hurt. While generally speaking I'm unsquickable (the one exception being urine/feces play) if you manage to come up with something squicky I've just never thought of I reserve the right to turn it down. Same with pairings that I just can't manage to write, though in that case I'm more likely to write a ficlet where they just interact non-romantically and hope you don't mind that much.
So, go ahead. Ask for one. Ask for a hundred (though it'll probably take me awhile to get through them, and other people's first requests will take priority after you get your first). Honestly, I'm back into my "Sleep three hours a night and spend the rest of my life bubbly-creative-insane-hyperactive" stage during which I have more time then I possibly know what to do with and energy pouring out my fingertips. No, I don't know how that happens when I'm getting so little sleep either.
