person4...I can't believe that when I was little I actually used to like ladybugs. Of course, those were different then the horrible multicolored Asian lady beetle which are now the focus of my seething hatred.
I just got back in from spraying as much of my house as I could get to with pesticides, because for the fourth or so year in a row thousands of the things are swarming it, crawling all over all the windows and looking for a way in to hibernate. Even though the windows are tightly closed and I can smell the foul-smelling fluid they secrete, and there's no smell I can think of off the top of my head that I hate more then that. And there're tens of thousands of them, everywhere! Hatehatehatehatehate!!!! *grrrrr*
If it were possible I would happily commit genocide to get rid of them for good, I don't care how helpful their aphid eating ways are for the local farmers. And then I'd kill the bastards in the Department of Agriculture who decided to import them over because of the aphid eating. I don't care if their intentions were good, after all, "the road to hell..." and all that.
