person4You know, I like ff.n's new sign in area quite a bit. I love being able to see the exact break down of favorites, finally being able to see people that have me down as favorite stories instead of just favorite author, and being able to see what C2s my stories are in (otherwise I'd never have known I was in any at all).
But I really hate the fact that whenever I click on one of the stats to get specifics it pops up in a new window. I have an incredible hatred of any layout that involves new windows coming up (although I can understand it when the main site's all in a tiny window, and fics get popped up so they don't get cramped into that space), I always do all my browsing in one window and open up new tabs when I want to break things up.
So, basically, I'm just whining. The good makes up for the bad, I guess, it's just unfortunate that in their redesign they ended up ramming straight into a major pet peeve of mine.
