person4My poor puppy's arthritis is acting up again now that the weather's changing. She was whimpering this morning until I gave her a pill, but at least she didn't seem nearly as bad at when it first developed.
I wish I could give her medicine every day, so her pain would be caught before it starts, but it has a chance of hurting her liver in the long run so the vet says only to give her one when she needs it.
On the upside, the cooler weather means I can take her for walks while the sun's up without us both frying. ...I probably really ought to do that now, since it looks like it's going to start raining later this afternoon.
