Oct. 15th, 2006 09:19 amGod, getting into Wakka's head is like pulling teeth. The next chapter of Unity should be up in a day or two, along with the second interlude chapter which is what's giving me so much trouble. It'd be so much easier if I could have one of the other characters be the viewpoint character and just have them observing and talking to him, since he's just about the character I have the least grasp on, but since most've the important stuff is internalized I can't do that.
I should see if I have any saves in either of the games near any big scenes of him. Or maybe start a new game of X and get through the first couple of nights on Besaid if I don't.
On the up side, the chapter that'll be coming with it has a few of the very first moments I thought of for the story, which I've been waiting to write all this time. So I'm really looking forward to getting that up.

Date: 2006-10-15 05:53 pm (UTC)I used it a lot when I first started writing -- I'd play a chunk before every single writing session to get the rhythm of the characters' voices in my head.
