Dear Yuletide Pinch-hit Santa, since I see I'm gonna get one,

Heh, apparently I really suck at picking things to ask for, since out of four times participating in Yuletide my stories have been written by a pinch hitter three times. Which means that I know full well that pinch hitters are just as awesome as people who have right from the day requests originally go out to work on their stories. Moreso even, since you do it in less time!

Anyway, the original letter is here ...not that it's hard to find since it's still right there on the page. Just so you know, my offer to upload or point you to any of the canons if you want more options still holds, though you probably don't need it since this time you got to pick the fandom on your own. But all you need to do is drop a note and I'll get you all of them (since I know asking for a specific one would break the surprise).

Oh, and this wasn't in the original letter but you don't need to feel like you have to find a way to cram every character I requested into the story if you don't want to.

I'm truly sorry about this. I had hoped right up until the last minute that you'd have two stories waiting for you come the reveal but my health issues this year have just not allowed that to happen. I do have more than half your story written and you will be receiving a longer version that is closer to my original 'framework' for the story as a NYR, hopefully sometime in January (helath permitting). As it is, you have a truly fabulous pinch hitter who I feel sure has created something you will love.

Hey, it's okay! I totally understand that sometimes life gets in the way of our plans, and I would never expect you to try forcing out a story for me when you're sick.
