person4January first means that it's time for my yearly Yuletide reveal post!
First, my gift was Shibuya Underworld: Dark Tales from the Other Shibuya by![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
ryuutchi, and awesome World Ends With You fic that mixes up actual Japanese urban legends with the game's canon.
On the writing side of things, I didn't get as written as I usually do for the challenge. For my recipient I wrote two Gunnerkrigg Court stories. The first was , which can be read as Zimmy/Gamma femslash or just as Zimmy being her crazy codependent self. On the lighter side... until the end, is Five Times the Spacemonauts Saved the World which is mostly gen aside from a quick moment of mushiness from a canon pairing.
Then, one of the fandoms I was really hoping to get when I signed up for Yuletide was Metal Gear Solid, so I hunted through people's 'Dear Santa' letters until I found someone who requested it with one of my favorite pairings, and for that I wrote A Normal Life (which really needs a better title now that I'm not rushing to get it finished and uploaded at the last second), which is Snake/Raiden post-MGS2.
Finally, there was one other person who knew and requested Animamundi, so I wanted to at least get a quick ficlet out for them since it's such a wee little fandom, so I wrote Atonement, and then thanked goodness when uploading was still open when I was done.
